For book 100, the first story of the 1990s, the Hardys return to the setting of their first adventure, some 70 years before, despite having not aged a day.
As a celebration, it contains surprisingly few of the usual elements - the extended cast are mostly absent, and the tone of the adventure is much different from more recent entries.
It’s an interesting story that does harken back maybe to the earlier ones, but also that has a seemingly large plot hole that’s ignored several times in order to increase peril.
