Formula One | 16th March 2006, 11:10

I have had another fantastic idea! Well, I had it on Sunday whilst watching the Bahraini Grand Prix at Nan's house.
I suggest that they announce a change in rules, telling the teams that in 5 years (or 10 if 5 is a little too ambitious) they will be changing Formula One over to be based entirely on renewable fuels.
The effect of this would be that lots of big name, big spender companies such as Ferrari, Mercedes, BMW, Honda etc. would begin to invest lots and lots and lots of money in renewable fuels for formula one, which would then be used in their everyday cars for consumers.
This would be a fantastic way for the FIA to say 'Yes, we acknowledge that there is a problem with Carbon Dioxide, and we want to help do something about it'.
