Alright then... | 27th July 2006, 09:02
Following Guy's requests, here is a brief summary of what I have been doing recently:

Playing on my DS lite. I got it with Animal Crossing and Mario Kart DS, in the hope that Matt would shortly sort out his internet connection at home and we could play two player mode over the internet. Sadly Matt still hasn't managed to do this, despite having over a month! I have also bought Super Monkey Ball Touch & Roll, using a ?15 Currys.digital voucher, and Sonic Rush from eBay. Sonic Rush is by far the most addictive game, although I have almost completed it now.

I have done a little more research into my family tree, digging through some old papers at my uncle's house, including a large collection of letters that my great-grandfather sent to my great-grandmother while he was serving in France during World War 1. A couple of them are a little saucy.

I have also been looking at buying birthday presents, but I can't say anything about that because birthdays aren't until next week.

I am currently reading the Otherworld* series by Tad Williams, which I started three years ago, when I read volumes one and two and part of three. I have got slightly further this time but have slowed down again in the last week or so. Ah well, I shall have plenty of time on the trains to read.

Oh yes, I've been attempting to get a job as well but no luck there so far.

*interestingly the spellcheck didn't pick up on Otherworld as being a non-word :S.
