Google: The Moral High Ground... | 25th January 2006, 18:08

... or not, as it seems.
Google China has decided that it's now going to censor itself, in order that the Chinese Government will not block them, say this BBC report.
Is this support for their regime from one of the West's largest companies? Does this perhaps reveal a slightly shadier side to Google than we have previously seen? Should Google not stand up for it's right to not be censored, or is it just out to make more money?
More importantly for me personally, can I trust Google not to censor results when I search for controversial issues here in Britain?
