Having slaved away for about two weeks making these blogs, it's fitting that I should be the first to make an entry. However that honour has already been taken and so I get to make entry number four. The idea for a blogs site like this has been in my mind for sometime. The regular visitor to my site (whoever it was) will remember 'Jimternet Diaries' from christmas and easter a couple of years ago. I said then that it would be nice if people could submit stuff online rather than by e-mail, and soon after the phenomenon that is blogging emerged. It took a while for me to get here as I had to wait for the site hosting to be upgraded, but now here are Shastrix Blogs. Having done all this however, I now have nothing really to blog about. Two weeks ago when I started there was loads of stuff in the news I wanted to comment on. Oh well. I'm sure something will come to me tomorrow. |

Just a quick entry to say how absolutely hideously annoyingly evil vector analysis is. M. Cauchy, your Integral Formula is no help at all. I'm so glad I'm not doing any modules with this as a prerequisite. Except for Continuum Mechanics. But anything "Professor" Kerr can do I'm sure I can cope with. Meanwhile, essay wordcount: 0. I was wondering while we were over by the students' union building this evening how much the university would pay the union in a deal to close all of its bars. I suppose thinking about it now that the university could only make the equivalent amount of money from their added business that the union would lose, and wouldn't be willing to pay the union that much. Not cost effective for the union then. Although it would give them lots of space for societies. |
