Hi everyone, I am in the midst of rewritting all of the code for the comics section, and wanted to see what people's opinions are on the topic of restricting registered users names so that they can only be used for commenting when the person in question is signed in. I did try this before but we had some problems with it, but what do you think about giving it another try? Or is it just too much bother to have to sign in? Jim | ||||

| ASH has suggested that we have 'restrict use of my username' as an option in the user profile, so that each user can decide for themselves whether they want thier username protected in this way. This seems to be a fairly straight-forward option which should please everyone. I will add this in when I make the upgrade. The default for new users will be 'on' but for existing users it will be left 'off' unless they change the setting themselves. | ||||
