I've had a couple of reports of infinite loops being reported on the site. I know firefox recognises them and reports them to the user, but IE might leave people in them forever...

Anyways, if anyone does encounter one of these, please drop me a line below with details of what browser you are using, what username you are signed in as, the date and time, where you were on the site, AND how long it had been since you signed in.

I will work to rectify this problem wherever it crops up.

Sorry for sounding uninformed, but what exactly is an infinite loop?

In terms of the internet, it's where one page redirects you to another, which redirects you pack to the first, which redirects you back to the second, et cetera ad infinitum, or at least until you click the stop button, or your browser cottons on to what is happening and presses stop on your behalf.

Infinite loops detected when I tried accessing MC Comic, and also when I tried going to Animated Frogs must Die.

The problem is caused when you leave yourself signed in but are inactive for some time. The server timeouts your login, however your browser doesn't know this, hence the browser and the server have a big argument as to whether you are signed in or not.

There is a very simple solution to the problem, which I have already implimented in several areas of the site (I did MCComic this morning, and will do AFMD now), but I need people to keep an eye out for where it exists so I know where to fix it.

Thanks
