I have been attempting to post comments on El Sancho's Shinggey comic, but I keep getting "Invalid/Restricted Name". Which is silly, since I can post comments on Team Nexus just fine. What Doth The Source Of This Nonsense Be?!

Sadly the man who can fix this is unavailable, but hopefully he should be out by then end of this week so I'll remind him of it then. The "Invalid/Restricted Name" thing is there to prevent peeps from immitating me, Jim, Daffyd etc. Something is obviously wrong with S.H.i.N.G., which is possible as I think it still uses a different code to the KillerFish pages.

Did you log in before you posted? SHinG uses the same log in name and password as the forums.

In theory the code for Shing should be exactly the same as for Team Nexus. So as long as you are signed in it should let you post with your name. I will have a look at fixing this when I am feeling better. Don't hold your breath ;)

You sure about Team Nexus and Shing using the same code? Because.. I don't see a login button on Team Nexus. >>;

I have no idea what is going on... I take it this means you are logging in before posting on Daffyds comic, which makes my previous idea wrong. The sign-in system is universal so it shouldn't matter where you login on the site. I understand how annying it must be not to be able to use your name, I'll try and get Jim to sort it as soon as possible.

p.s. I think they comic codes are the same, it is just that Killerfish doesn't have a 'sign-in' button at the moment. So many things I want to do to this site... Must learn PHP...
