Indeed, still a lot of questions. However, we now know that that teacher is terminally ill, which explains some things.

Oh. Fun fact about the first paragraph. According to Seiken, akaname are creatures appearing in bathrooms to lick the filth from the floor. I just thought that using this analogy would suit our mystery-woman well.
