What exactly is wrong with it. If the images become scrambled (a bunch of colorful pixels that make no sense at all), it may only need a little warm up. I had to rescan countless pics before I found that out.

The light thingy inside it that actually does the scanning moves about an inch then claims to have finished scanning. I had to make the above comic completely on computer.

I'm not familiar with that. The light in mine goes off 10 seconds after I start the program. If I hit "scan" right away, the image will look like crap.
