The ear shortening is semi-plot related. I'll explain it to you once I fiqure it all out for myself.

Well, it seems to allow me to post using my name, so I don't know what is causing the problem. If you are logged in it should fill in your name automatically and not require you to type it in - is this happening correctly for you?
