This is what I've got so far:
A: E C: W D: V G: L I: O N: S
And the runes appear to be written backwards too!

Oh, so we are putting a tpoic up here. I'll put up what I can remember about the blends and the standard alphabet.
A=E B=P C=W D=V E=A F=T G=L H=K I=O J=X K=H L=G M=R N=S O=I P=B Qu=Z R=M S=N T=F U=Y V=D W=C X=J Y=I Z=Qu
A sounds like "ah" E sounds like "ay" I sounds like "ee" O sounds like "oh" U sounds like "ooh" Y sounds like "ih"
LF=GH CR=KR
More blends to come,that's all I know right now. ^^;

Oh yeah. General consonants.
The "R" sound has a little flip in it, like most European languages. "L" s like the Japanese R/L combo "J" est to E or I sounds like the French soft "G", or "ZH" E at the end of a sentence, accent the E, except when next to a V, when it's silent.
Ld=Ga Gr=Tr Tr=Gr Pyr=Par Ie=Oe
(I know I repeated a swap, bt this is important, because sometimes its translated differently depending on which language is being translated from. For example, "Ght" in English is translated to "Lf" in the ancient language, but "Lf" in English only translates to "Gh" in the ancient language, so not all swaps can work only one way, and this is only a simpler example, as there are more complex ones in the list.)

Change to the standard alphabet that I think will work better: X=Qu, J=Z, and vice versa

Oooh...
That's a pretty nice magic language there. Quite impressive... and very sophisticated for a substitution cipher.
