		The shading looks better on this one. But I still like the longer ears.

		Got to agree about the font there. The new one isn't really difficult to read, just not as easy as the old one.

		I liked the old goofy ears, though the new ones are just as good. The new font though - it's great for say, writing in a book... but it's not really good for speech text. It's too thin and tall, and there isn't enough space between the letters. </typographynerd>

		But those ears were something that defined Team Nexus's fantasy style from everyone elses, something you could see and instantly know where it came from. Now the ears are just generic-pointy-Elf-ears (no disrespect intended).

		Not really. Besides the fact that they drooped when sad (like yoda's) They were very similar to World of Warcraft Elf ears, anime elf ears, some Magic the Gathering elf ears. What really defines Team Nexus is Daffyd's general drawing style, which is consistant despite changing ears.

		What really defines the fact you're reading Team Nexus: - The site you're on - The way it says it at the top - The characters - The fact it's signed 'Daffyd' Okay, I jest, but the art stlye is pretty unique, with his certain shapes and shading methods and stuff. That's all pretty unique defining stuff, eh? =-P
