Not much. This started out as a little sketch of Tom. I was trying to get his proportions right, and apparently I did it. Tom's eyes are meant to be large. However, the way my style is, the eyes I draw are usually 1.5 times larger than real eyes, so Tom doesn't really stand out. I tried to do a little experiment with colouring, so I inked and scanned the sketch and started working. While shading is rather slow and I may not use it too often, I WILL make sure the skin color is more realistic. than before.
