Artist Comment Care to take a guess why this particular piece took me four hours? The emblems took quite some time to complete. Mainly because I had to come up with a design for all of them. The fleur de lys already appeared on banknotes so I used it for the republic, even though it doesn't make much sense. This, along with the flower for India, the six blades of grass for the Emirate and the leaf for the Union existed as preset shapes, and the canadian emblem was made out of a picture of a real maple leaf, so I wouldn't steal the flag of Canada. The rest were made using various brushes, warping methods and other forms of Photoshop Magic. Needless to say the rising sun - cherry blossom combo is my favorite. And it alone took me a whole hour.
