Oh, that's easy. But I'd feel bad if I explained it here and turned out to be right, therefore spoiling it. Oh, what the heck. When the wavefront from the first paradox (green line) reaches the second paradox (orange line), the paradox that created the second wavefront (again, orange) no longer exists. I would assume that this would make the second wavefront colapse, leaving a breach in the timestream, a hole in time. This is a bad thing. Once you hit that hole, the present no longer exists, and you can't exacly have a future when there is no present. So the timestream just ends, and with one of the universe's dimentions missing, the rest of it collapses as well.
