Fantasy Cabinet | 21st June 2007, 22:36
The BBC have a new game - fantasy cabinet. Sadly, I found the rules rather limiting, so I decided to cheat:

Fantasy Cabinet

Obviously Geordie had to be Prime Minister, what with his name being so similar to our real-life future leader-in-chief. And he's already won one election (although counting errors led to him not actualy winning).

Chancellor of the Exchequer goes to Kate, as she's training to be an actual fairy... or an actuary... or something to do with money anyway.

Ashley has been appointed for Education as he likes it so much (he's going back to uni again!).

Health is me, as I have a lot of recent experience dealing with hospitals.

Mike Ruocco gets the defense role, as he's fairly good at football.

Cáit takes on Communities and Local Government so that she can sort out council tax.

Matt Dando can be Chief Whip in order to keep the backbenchers in order.

Sarah is training for the bar, which I assume is something to do with law rather than alcohol, so I have appointed her as Justice Minister.

Bryony is becomming an accountant, and what better job than pensions - that will require some creative accounting.

Guy is my minister for Trade and Industry, as he did some engineering modules, which is about as close to industry as I can think of.

Edd Steele has lived in far-flung places, so has the necessary experience to serve as Foreign Secretary.

Richy is very cultured, and was head of Warwick TV, so he can look after culture.

Matt is too obvious a choice for Environment.

Jamie slots into the role of Home Secretary as he likes the Police and will annoy everyone by completely failing to be British :)

And finally Boesinger as DPM - I can't think of anyone better suited to succeed John Prescott.
